Selling Your Home For Relocation

Selling your home can be a stressful time, with trying to keep it clean, showings messing up your schedule, and hoping to get the best value out of your home in its market. You want your home to sell quickly, and without interruptions to your life. So, what can you and we do to help make it easier on yourself?

We have hundreds of buyers, all qualified and looking for homes in your area.

What Buyers expect when they walk through the door is a clean, well-kept home. Keep everything tidy, personal pictures off the walls and fridge, and any pets that you may have should be exposed before the showing, or taken off the premises when Buyers are ready to walk through that door. Staging your home goes a long way. Having your home well-staged helps put Buyers into the mindset that this could be their home. Is the space cluttered and messy? Is it inviting and open? Clean and well-organized? These are the quick-reaction questions that will run through Buyers minds, whether it's consciously or un-consciously. Small handy-man projects such as a fresh coat of paint, power-cleaning your rugs, or shining up your hardwoods will go a long way in selling your home to Buyers. It's all about presentation: most Buyers want to walk into a house, feel how happy they could be there, and not lift a finger after their move. Our expert agents will assist you with any of these changes, whether it's making updates to the house, renovations, painting, cleaning, organizing or staging your home.

Your home is well-staged, looking beautiful and is ready for people to view; now what? You need to get those people to your home! We market our listings out in print, social media, numerous websites, real-estate news, and of course, on MLS. We spend thousands of dollars a month marketing ourselves so you don't have to. Some people may feel there are better times to move in the year than others; however, if you are staged properly, marketed strongly and priced accordingly, your home will sell no matter the season!

How to Build a Hanging Day Bed   What's more relaxing than taking a nap in a large swing on your deck or porch? Maybe adding a drink in your hand. Swings, day-beds and other lawn furniture can be ridiculously expensive, so here's a great way to save money and have a project to keep your hands busy:   1. Measure the joists spacing where the bed will hang. 14 ½ or 16 inches on centre joists is a good number to use. Cut four pieces of 4X4 post lumber. Secure the 4X4 braces to the ceiling joist .....
